It is advised that children and teenagers aged 6 and older engage in at least an hour of moderate to strenuous aerobic activity each day. Children should engage in physically demanding activities, such as biking or running, at least three days a week. They should also engage in muscle-building workouts using their bodies at least three days a week. Additionally, children should engage in bone-strengthening exercises like jogging or jumping rope at least three days each week. Children’s development and growth are aided by physical activity.
Jumping rope and playing on playground equipment are two typical school-age activities that cover all the bases simultaneously. Additionally, doing organized sports like baseball or soccer is a terrific way to keep fit. However, there are other possibilities than team sports and dancing lessons.
Exercise alongside your child to improve your health and help them healthy exercise habits. If you prioritize physical exercise as a family, your child is more likely to be physically active. Play catch in the backyard, go on a stroll as a family, or go bike riding together. Create a family garden, and over time, watch as fruits, vegetables, and flowers flourish. Limit your child’s use of electronics, and instead, consider methods to engage them in physical activity.
Start incorporating exercise into your child’s regular routines and have fun!
